IRELAND PART 1

Hey everyone! I had the most busy but most amazing holidays ever! I travelled a lot and todays post is all about my trip to beautiful Ireland. I love Ireland, it´s so green and beautiful and mystical and the people are just the most friendly people I have ever met. I didn´t travel alone, although I didn´t know anyone in my group becuase I travelled with RUF, an organisation for youth travel. I think I was lucky with the people and the group leader because everyone was nice and the journey was well organized, so I actually recommend to travel with RUF. (NOT SPONSORED, MY OWN OPINION)

Day 1

On day one we first got a short sightseeing tour of Belfast by our ruf guide Laura, passing the big clock, the opera house and the big fish. At the most narrow pub of the city we were able to go on the roof of a shopping mall with an amazing view over Belfast.
Later on we decided to visit the Titanic museum because if you
don´t know yet, the real Titanic was actually built there. The museum was amazing, with huge screens showing the inside of the original Titanic and images of the wrack down at the bottom of the sea. We could also listen to audios of real survivours.
Afterwards we went to Belfast University, which is a beautiful old castle and walked into the botanic garden. They have a huge rose garden with sorts of roses I´ve never seen before.
In the evening we went to the oldest pub of Ireland called "the crown bar" where I drank my first Guiness.

Day 2
On day two we drove to Portrush in northern Ireland. On the way we vistited the giant´s causeway rope bridge in a beautiful Irish landscape. It was like I alway imagined. Cillfs, green hills, turquoise sea and small caves that looked really mysterious. On the small island on the other side of the bridge we had an amazing view. Afterwards we visited the vulcano stones at giants causeway which seriously look man made but actually aren´t.
In the evening we went to a long sandy beach and made a campfire, ate some s´mores and listened to Irish music.

Day 3

On day three we drove to stone circle of Carrickmore in northern Ireland where we had the most amazing view.
We continued to drive to Omagh where we had an Irish whistle lesson and an Irish dance course afterwards. I had so much fun and it was actually one of the best experiences of the whole Ireland trip. The people were so generous and nice. I just loved that day.

Look out for the next parts of my travel diary of Ireland. I can´t wait to share them on this blog as well.

Have you been to Ireland before? Do you love it as much as I do?

Feel free to leave a commend, I´d love to chat about it!

I´m soon gonna travel to Canada, so follow me on instagram for more travel pics. @lea_so_cl
