CHOCOLATE BAR VARIATIONS

Hey everyone! How are you doing? So here in Germany, it was father´s day last thirsday and
mother´s is actually tomorrow. First I had absolutly no idea what I could give my dad. But as I was scolling through pinterest I saw these pics of selfmade chocolate and thought why not give it a try. Best thing about it is that its just super easy and doesn´t take much time at all. You can get amazingly creative because there are basically no limits on what you want to flavour your chocolate with. So if you´re still surching for something to give your mom on mother´s day, go give this idea a try. My dad was really happy when I presented the chocolate to him so it´s definitively worth it.

I used dark and white chocolate and I mixed five different tastes.
Ingredients:

- 500g dark chocolate
- 200g white chocolate
- 1/4 cup pistachios, with honey covered almonds,
salted peanuts, cashews, dried peaches & dired raspberries
- 1 tsp chilli flakes

- any size of loaf pan

1. First of all you want to decide on different topping combinations.
 I used: 1) salted peanuts
             2) in honey covered almonds
             3) pistachious + chili flakes
             4) cashews + dried peaches
             5) dried raspberries

2. If you use some kind of metal loaf pan, you´ll need to line the bottom with parchment paper. But if       have a silicone pan like mine I highly recommend to use that one because it will be much easier to
remove the chocolate.

3. Fill a small saucepan with half a liter of water and set the heat on low. Place a bowl on top of the saucepan. Now place the dark chocolate into the bowl and stirr until melted.

4. Pour the chocolate into the loaf pan, smooth out with a spoon and then tap the pan on the counter a few times, so there is no air left in the chocolate bar. Arrange the fruits/nuts on top of each bar.

5. Repeat the process with the with chcolate and place everything into the fridge for approx. 30min.

6. Remove the chocolate bars from the pan and now its time to wrap them with some see-through   wrapping paper and cords for the bow.

And you´re done! Don´t they look just super cute and delicious? There is now other way than your mom or dad to love this.

Go ahead and try it yourself. It´s definitively the time worth it. If you do, let me know if you liked it. I would love to chat about it!
Do you have any other father´s or mother´s day gift ideas?
