IRELAND PART 3

DAY 8

On our way to Dublin we stopped in Kilkenny and visited their castle whith it´s really impressive painting hall and beautiful dining room and library.
When we arrieved in Dublin, Laura our tour guide gave us a small city tour over the half penny bridge and the college, etc. In the evening one girl of the group I made friends with and I went to the cinema because we really wanted so see the movie "lights out" with Teresa Palmer, who is one of my favourite actresses ever. Yes, what you may not know about me yet, is the fact that I love horror movies and it was actually my first time watching one in the cinema and it was soo good, I loved it! On the way back to the hostel we met Laura and others of our group and decided to walk through the pub area of Dublin. It was really a lot of fun and although the pubs were so full that non of us could fit in one, we just stood outside and sang along to "wanderwall" and "Teenage Dirtbag" as everyone else was doing too!

IRELAND PART 2

Day 4

On day four we drove to Galway. Again we stopped on the way at this beautiful place with an amazing view over the sea and the cliffs and the weather was amazing too. Soo sunny and warm.

Our next stop was Glencar - Waterfall. When we arrived in Galway we just explored everything and had dinner between many other students on galway lake. It´s such a cute city with many young people and lots of pubs. And that´s were we went in the evening. I drank my first cider with blackcurrant and enjoyed the irish life music.

IRELAND PART 1

Hey everyone! I had the most busy but most amazing holidays ever! I travelled a lot and todays post is all about my trip to beautiful Ireland. I love Ireland, it´s so green and beautiful and mystical and the people are just the most friendly people I have ever met. I didn´t travel alone, although I didn´t know anyone in my group becuase I travelled with RUF, an organisation for youth travel. I think I was lucky with the people and the group leader because everyone was nice and the journey was well organized, so I actually recommend to travel with RUF. (NOT SPONSORED, MY OWN OPINION)

TRIP TO DRESDEN (GERMANY)

Recently we went on a trip to Dresden which I absolutely loved, first of all because the city is really nice with all it´s beautiful old buildings and second because I was able to meet a friend from my year abroad again after I went back to Germany a year ago. In this post I´d like to share some pictures of this trip and some tips on how to improve your stay.

A day in my life: Apassionata

Yesterday my mom, my sister and I saw the amazing horse show Apassionata. I was so excited to see it myself, especially because my mom and my sister already have been there when I was in Canada last year. It actually was quite spontaneous but I was excited anyways. When you come in the arena you see the stage with these shiny curtains around it. When the show starts they open them slowly and together with the music it gives a really mysterious effect. The horses were gorgeous but what really touched me was the deep connection between man and horse. These tricks they do with the horses are all based on trust which you got to work hard for. And thats why I recommand to buy a ticked and go watch it yourself. It´s an amazing experience. Next year I will definitive go and watch the next show Cinema of Dreams.

Holiday on Sylt

I was on holidays again but this time on Sylt. I had an amazing time there with surfing in the ozean and riding on the beach. Here are some pics of the ocean, outfits and jewelry.

Ich war wieder im Urlaub aber diesmal auf Sylt. Ich hatte ne menge Spaß beim surfen im Meer und reiten am Stand. Hier sind ein paar Bilder vom Meer, Outfits und Schmuck.

So as I mentioned in my previous blogpost I was on vacation in the Netherlands and of cause we went to the beach almost every day. Here are some pics and my outfit on that day.

Visit to Alkmaar/the Netherlands

Last week I´ve been on vacation in the Netherlands with some friends and one day we visited Alkmaar. It´s a really nice place and I thought I could share some pics and my outfit.

Letzte Woche hab ich endlich mal Urlaub mit ein paar Freundinnen in Holland gemacht und einen Tag sind wir dann nach Alkmaar gefahren, welche wie ich finde eine wirklich schöne Stadt ist.

Ich dachte ich zeig in diesem post mal ein paar bilder von Alkmaar und meinem Outfit.

Trip to Berlin

Day #1

Berlin is a nice City and I really enjoyed this trip. When we arrived after a three hour train trip we went to the sea live museum where they have many aquariums with animals who were injured and saved by sea live. They also offer the opportunity to help these animals by donating. For more information click here.

Berlin ist eine wirklich schöne Stadt und ich habe diese Zeit dort sehr genossen. Als wir nach einer dreistündigen Zugfahrt ankamen sind wir als erstes ins Sea Live Museum gegangen, indem sie viele toll gestaltete Aquarien haben. Die Meerestiere dort, sind hauptsächlich verletzte Tiere, die Sea Live aufgenommen hat, um diese wieder aufzupeppeln und anschließed wieder in die freie Welt auszusetzen werden. Sie bieten auch die Möglichkeit an, diesen Tieren mit einer Spende zu helfen. Für weitere Informationen klicke einfach hier.

Ski trip to Whistler

This week I was skiing in Whistler with my hostfamiliy. It was an amazing trip and I really loved it.

We stayed in a beautiful big hotel and the food was really good too.

On the first day, the weather was amazing...sunshine, perfect snow, but actually a bit too warm.

For lunch I ate a chicken curry with rice, chic peas and mango chutney, soo yummy!

On the second day it snowed a lot on top of the mountain and rained at the bottom so we didn't skied that much. For dinner I had a salad with cucumber, carrots, blue cheese and Shrimp.

On the last day we just walked through Whistler Village, which is really cute. There I got the most delicious cookie ever!

To sum up, it was a really great trip, which I will never forget.

In dieser Woche war ich mit meiner Gastfamilie ski fahren in Whistler. Es war ein wirklich schöner Urlaub und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Das Hotel in dem wir wohnten war atemberaubend schön und riesen groß.

Am ersten Tag hatten wir wirklich Glück mit dem Wetter...Sonne, perfekter Schnee und gefroren habe ich ueberhaupt nicht da es wegen der Sonne schoen warm war, wenn nicht sogar etwas zu warm.

Zum Mittagessen hatte ich ein super leckeres Huehnchen Curry mit Reis und Mango Chutney.

Am zweiten Tag hat es stark geschneit oben auf dem Berg und im Tal leider geregnet weswegen wir nicht ganz so lange geblieben sind.

Zum Abendessen gan es dann Salat mit Gurke, Karotte, gorgonzola Käse und Shrimp.

Am letzten Tag sind wir dann einfach noch ein bisschen durch Whistler gelaufen und ich habe mir dort den leckersten Cookie den ich je hatte gegoennt.

Dieser Urlaub war wirklich schoen und ich werde ihn nie vergessen.

Weekend in Seattle

day one

After a shopping tour at the Seattle Premium Outlet, where I was able to buy most of the christmas presents, we put all our bags in our hotel and started exploring Seattle. It's so big but interesting and it reminded me a lot of Vancouver, which after Paris is my favourite city so far! We walked to the Space Needle which is a 605 feet (184 m) high observation tower and a great symbol of Seattle. Unfortunately we only had time to take some pictures from the bottom, because afterwards we had dinner.

Nach einer drei stuendigen Shopping Tour im Seattle Premium outlet, wo ich so gut wie alle Weihnachtsbesorgungen erledigen konnte, brachten wir all unser Gepaeck ins Hotel und fingen an uns einen ersten Eindruck von Seattle zu Fuss zu machen. Seattle ist so gross aber sehr interessant und es erinnert mich ein bisschen an Vancouver, die nach Paris eine meiner lieblings Staedte ist. Wir liefen am Space Needle vorbei welches ein 184 Meter hoher Turm ist und dabei eines der Symbole fuer Seattle.

Leider hatten wir nur etwas Zeit um Fotos vom Boden aus zu machen, da wir dann zum Abendessen gingen.

The next day started with a sight seeing tour through Seattle downtown. We walked pass the very first starbucks and saw the Pike Place Market with all it's little shops. After we went through the gum wall which is kind of freaky and grouse at the same time. Then we had time to do what we want and of cause we went shopping again. At the end of the day everyone was really exhausted but I had such a good time in Seattle and it was an incredible experience for me!

Der zweite Tag begann mit einer Sightseeing Tour durch das Center von Seattle. Eine der Sehenswuerdigkeiten war der aller erste Starbucks der Welt und danach liefen wir noch am Pike Place Mark mit seinen vielen huebschen kleinen Staenden vorbei. Danach hatten wir Freizeit, die wir natuerlich wieder zum shoppen genutzt haben. Am Ende des Tages waren alle ziemlich erschoepft, doch es hat sich definitiv gelohnt! Ich hatte eine wirklich tolle Zeit in Seattle und es war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung fuer mich!
